Law Graduate from Arab University of Beirut, Mr. Al Naema started his career as a diplomat with Qatar’s Foreign Ministry. He served as an Ambassador of Qatar to the UAE until 1984, when he decided to pursue his current business ventures.Accordingly, he partnered Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani, by forming INTERGROUP (1985) and DYARCO INTERNATIONAL (1992) and ventured into the Oil and Gas and Infrastructure sectors.
The Companies established since 1984, for which he holds the active part of Chairmanship and Managing Partner role, represent many well reputed International names in Qatar which include Maersk Sea land, DHL, Fed Ex., Baytur, Jotun Paints, Kone Elevators etc. In addition to local representation, the companies have secured ownership, either fully or partially, in several businesses range from manufacturing to retailing. Activities and products of such companies encompass Paints, Pipes, to Fashions and Theme –restaurants etc like Hepworth for plastic pipes.
The number of personnel employed by the company, both directly and indirectly, exceeds 1600, inclusive of team of skilled Professionals that assist with the management of Local and International Business matters.
He is married with three daughters and a son.
