Born in Doha – Qatar (1942) and completed his elementary and  secondary education  in the schools of Doha, Qatar.  In  1962 – 1965  attended an extended  English  Language Course in  England. Thereafter, 1965-1970  pursued  his  higher education  and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Political Sciences from the Arab University of Beirut, Lebanon.

 Upon  his return  to Doha in  1970, he took charge of the  Rabban Contracting & Trading Co.(WLL) from his father and  started  an expansion program  of  its operations. At  the  same  time, he continued on expanding the readymix operations until 1977, when it formally became an independent operation under the name of Rabban Readymix Co.(WLL).

 In  1985, he established  Rayyan  Mineral  Water  Co. (WLL) and thereafter  continued establishing other operating units of the group including Arabian Falcon for Transport & Trading and Rabban Services Co., etc.

 In addition to his business endeavors, he has attended several international conferences.

 As well he is a keen sportsman with current interest in walking, swimming and yachting. His hobbies and interest are fishing, traveling, reading and national geography.

RABBAN GROUP is a multi-disciplinary group of companies that was formed in 1964 and is amongst the oldest groups in Doha, State of Qatar.

 The groups’ principle operating units are:

• Rabban Contracting & Trading Co.(W.L.L.) 

 Formed in 1964 as a general and civil engineering contractor and has an impressive

 record of achievements.

• Rabban Readymix Co.(WLL)

 Began formal operations on its own name in 1977, having been previously part of

 the contracting company.  It is currently ranked among the most successful companies

in its field in Qatar with plants in Doha, Messaied, West Bay and Al Udeid. The

company holds ISO 9002 certification.

• Rayyan Mineral Water Co.(WLL)

Formed in 1985 with technical assistance for the establishment of the factory facilities

from Evian International of France.  The factory now incorporates the latest automated

production machinery and techniques and Rayyan maintains its position as the leading

producer/supplier of pure mineral water in the Qatar market.  The company holds ISO

9002 certification.

The other operating units of the group are:

• Rabban Electro-Mechanical Contracting & Trading Co.(WLL)

• Rabban Services Co.(WLL): Providing sponsorship and related services for

international companies as well as acting as the trading company of the group

• Future Real Estate Co.(WLL)

• Arabian Gulf For Transport & Trading (WLL)
