Businessmen Association (QBA) has embraced the visit of HE Mr. Guiseppe
Grimmde, Italian Ambassador to Qatar, to QBA premises. The ambassador
held a meeting with Sheikh Faisal Bin Qasim Al Thani, Chairman of QBA,
Shk. Nawaf Bin Nasser Al Thani, Board Member of QBA and Mr. Bassam
Massouh, General Manager of QBA, aiming to discuss increasing business
opportunities and cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, the Italian Ambassador declared his appreciation
of the strategic vision set by HH the Emir of Qatar. He also
appreciated the pioneer role QBA is playing to develop the private
sector, to create promising business opportunities and to attract
foreign direct investment for several projects. He also stressed on
his interest to have more Italian-Qatari business partnerships and
let the Spanish investors take part of the rising business
opportunities within the current Qatari economic boost.
