Mr. Robert Rostek  visit QBA premises

The Qatari Businessmen Association has welcomed the visit of H.E. Mr. Robert Rostek, Counselor Charge D’ Affairs, in the Embassy of Poland in Qatar, on QBA premises on Wednesday 27, September 2006.

 

The visit included providing Mr. Robert Rosteck with information about opportunities for economic cooperation between Qatar and Poland. Mr. Bassam Ramzi Massouh, General Manager, of the QBA, introduced the recent development trends in the state of Qatar and also the investment and industrial opportunities in the local market.

 

As pointed out by Mr. Robert Rosteck there is a plan to open the embassy of Poland in the state of Qatar, he also defined to work of the Embassy and the areas available for investment in Poland to economic relation between Poland and Qatar.

1st ARAB - GREEK  ECONOMIC FORUM 2006

Qatari Businessmen Association has represented Qatar& participated in the First Greek - Arab Economic Forum. QBA took place in the forum following a request of MOE , and delegated Mr. Maqpool Habib Khalfan Member of the Qatari Businessmen Association and Mr. Bassam Ramzi Massouh General Manager of QBA .

Visit Of  H.E.  Mr. Robert Noriega

Qatari Businessmen Association has welcomed the visit of H.E.  Mr. Robert Noriega M., Minister Counselor Charge D’Affaires a.i, in the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Qatar, on QBA premises on Tuesday 26, September 2006.

  

The visit aimed to exchange views on several topics and highlight some investment opportunities for cooperation between the private sectors of the each side.

  

QBA General Manager, Mr. Bassam Massouh, during the meeting raised concerns over the nature of direct investments and their movements between the two countries.

Italian Delegation

  

The Qatari Businessmen Association has hosted in its premises an Italian delegation including Mr.Paolo Clementi, Business Consultant, and Ms. Katia Franchini, Home and Building Materials Manager in Centro Estero Camere Commercio Piemontesi , on Thursday 21st Sept. 2006.

The visit aimed at discussing various investment opportunities in Qatar, and raising the issue of establishing Joint project & investment between both preview long-term projects inside Qatar. The QBA General Manager, Mr. Bassam Massouh, Provided the Italian delegation with information on investment and the cooperation opportunities available in business activities.

Korean Delegation Visit QBA

The Qatari Businessmen Association has hosted in the premises Korean delegation consisting of  a number of heads of construction companies, including Mr. Jong Wook Kim, President of the Samjeong C&C Company, Mr. Yong-in Ha, Managing Director, Mr. Jeong Hoon Park, Manager of the Lotte Engineering & Construction Company, and Mr. Eun Roke Lee, Regional General Manager/Middle East of the SK Engineering & Construction, together with representatives of the Korean Embassy in Qatar  on Thursday 21st Sep. 2006.

  

The visit aimed at discussing investment opportunities in the field of construction and opportunities for the establishment of companies inside the Qatari market.

  

The Qatari Businessmen Association encouraged the Korean delegation to study the establishment of long-term projects inside Qatar, and QBA General Manager, Mr. Bassam Massouh, Provided the Korean delegation with information on establishment of companies at the local market together with advising them to follow up the information available by the Ministry of Economy & Trade and the tenders in the Public Works (ASHGHAL) for monitoring current and future projects.
